1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of Rafferty Shipping Co Pte. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Services

Rafferty Shipping provides international tanker shipping services including:

  • Aframax tanker operations
  • Chemical tanker transportation
  • Product tanker services
  • Tank storage and terminal operations

3. Booking and Contracts

3.1 Charter Agreements

All shipping services are subject to formal charter party agreements. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing.

3.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual contracts. Late payments may incur interest charges as per Singapore law.

4. Cargo Requirements

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate cargo declarations
  • Ensure cargo complies with IMO regulations
  • Provide proper documentation and certificates
  • Comply with all customs and port requirements

5. Liability and Insurance

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited as per international maritime conventions including SOLAS, MARPOL, and applicable charter party terms.

5.2 Insurance

Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate cargo insurance. We maintain P&I club membership and hull insurance for all vessels.

6. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including weather, port closures, strikes, or government actions.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation terms are specified in individual charter agreements. Cancellation fees may apply as per contract terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts or arbitration as specified in charter agreements.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
